(More customer reviews)The woman who does my facials recommended this to me because I have sensitive skin.I found this cleanser to be great because it doesn't really have any odor to it, its really lightweight, non-drying and leaves my skin feeling very soft after a cleanse. One bottle lasted me about 3 months, so they give you a lot for the money it costs. That said, I also found similar results using Purpose that you can find at a drug store for a lot less. I actually switch off between the two now, since the Purpose is really gentle, but does not have the acid, which renews the skin.
One hint: use as directed. The bottle says to put it on a dry face and then rinse off, which I've never heard before, but you can feel a little tingle when you do it that way that you can't when you apply on a wet face, so I suppose it takes off more dead skin that way.

(More customer reviews)At first I was really impressed, I thought I had found the perfect every day facial cleaner for people with Rosacea. It seemed gentle and didn't make my skin flash red after washing my face. However, a week after I started using the sensitive skin cleaner, I noticed I started getting acne. This is not something common for me. It got worse after three weeks. Plus, I accidentally got some of the cleaner in my eye when washing my face one morning, and I thought I was going to have to go to the ER room. It burned so bad and I couldn't stop flushing my eyes for 20 minutes! If you purchase this product, don't let any to this product near your eyes. It also has a strong "sulfur" smell. I really like that someone tried to make a Rosacea skin product, but this product didn't turn out the way I had hoped. I am not saying this product won't work for everyone, but it didn't work for me.

(More customer reviews)Don't be fooled by the title. This isn't to treat bad acne (which is what it sounds like.) It has acne-fighting ingredients, but it's not a powerhouse.
This is, however, an effective moisturizer slash skin improving lotion. I use it in conjunction with acne medication formulated for people with redness/sensitivity issues. The combo helps a lot, more than each on its own.
I purchased this in May because I have always had troubled skin that can't use most products out there--even dermatologist prescription ones--due to ultra-sensitive skin. I get red and itchy from 99% of stuff out there. I have eczema on my upper cheeks and brow. I'd stuck to Seriously Sensitive Lubriderm for 9 years.
But I'm older and still getting active acne. I wanted something that wouldn't make my zits worse, my eczema worse, but would improve my skin's aging texture.
This helped. Within two days, my skin texture improved (softer, less red) enough to be noticeable. In less than a week, I noticed the tone was balancing out and it started to have a bit of a glow. But what really mattered was that it didn't make my eczema worse and it didn't break me out while doing all this.
It's expensive. But I'm left with few options given my hyperreactivity. This works for me.
I ordered a second bottle in May when I saw this worked. I'm still on bottle number one. IT lasts longer than I thought--but then I don't slather. I use judiciously.
Right now, I'm using the Ultimate Regimen. Just started a few days ago. I wanted to see if a stronger dose of the kinetin would improve my skin more. This kit is working, too. So, I think Kinerase is definitely getting word-of-mouth buzz for a reason, and not just cause Courtney Cox-Arquette praises it and plugs it.
The Makeup Alley website also has reviews on Kinerase (that's where I found out it works on sensitive skin and decided to try it).
But if you have troublesome skin like mine and can afford this much for a lotion, it might help. And I'll take what help I can.
